The world’s richest man, Elon Musk, has taken control of the popular social media platform Twitter. After taking control of the company, he sacked its CEO Parag Agarwal.
This Friday, the British media BBC reported the information.
Quoting Ross Gerber, one of the company’s investors, reports say that Elon Musk has taken control of Twitter for $44 billion.
He said, ‘I think the court forced Musk to comply with the agreement. It goes without saying that there was a lot of complexity in the beginning.’
Citing US media, the BBC report also said that after taking control of Twitter, Musk immediately fired CEO Parag Agarwal and chief financial officer Ned Segal.
